Testimonials

Renae C. Rowe

"I was a student of Lisa McGowan from 5 until 19 years old learning styles of ballet, modern, tap, jazz. I also performed in solo and group eisteddfods during those years which are lovely memories of wonderful childhood experiences I cherish today.

Tap was and still is my favourite style of dance! With Miss Lisa's guidance, support and encouragement I completed my qualifications to teach tap. I miss dancing and am still in contact with Lisa all these years later. Although I did not end up dancing professionally, my inherent love for Dance remains strong and Lisa's positive instruction influence has assisted to form the person I am today.

If I lived closer to Cooma I would definitely send my children to Miss Lisa for dance instruction and I highly recommend her to you". ~ Renae C. Rowe

Nicky Diamond

"I was a student of Lisa McGowan's & trained with her in my early years. After having been accepted into WAAPA, I went on to a professional career in the industry, including Darc Swan Dance Company, Di Heaton Dancers, Dance Encore Productions and a multitude of other shows as a triple threat performer.

I currently teach dance at Federation University, own a dance studio in Sydney and am Chair, of the NSW RAD Regional Advisory Panel. Without the technique & training, support, guidance and nurturing I received from Lisa, I would not be where I am today."

Melissa Dettman

"From the age of 5 Miss Lisa taught me how to dance. I was trained in all styles including; Classical Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern & Contemporary.

Without the extensive training provided by Miss Lisa I would not have had the opportunities to travel the world and perform in production shows and have a career as a professional dancer.

Over a 10 year period, I performed as a showgirl across Asia, Europe, Australia and the US. I am so grateful for the many amazing opportunities I have had in my life from dancing and I have a great teacher to thank for that!"

Hayley Hindmarsh

"I started my learnings from Miss Lisa at 2.5 years old running into my sisters class in nappies. Miss Lisa taught me even though I wasn't supposed to be in the class.

She is an amazing dance teacher but the truth is she tought me more then dance but how to carry all of our lessons through in life that I still use today. I'm grateful for her wisdom and strength.

Because of her I would not be the woman I am today. She got me ready so at 16 I was able to travel to Vienna to pursue my ballet career and then for ten years danced professionally traveling the world.

Lisa has an incredible impact to everyone she teaches. The wealth of knowledge she gave me will be carried onto the next generation my kids! It goes much further then her teaching me but leaving her footprints all over the world through her craft and passion."
